Erkki is a classic driving glove with touchscreen functionality. The glove has polka dot decoration, perforations and a button fastening. Thanks to its classic design, Erkki driving gloves are suitable for both driving and everyday use.

The gloves are handmade with a sewing machine, made of sheepskin. The sheepskin is shiny and soft. The glove is unlined, so the suede feels wonderful on the skin. Unlined gloves also have a good tactile feel, which makes Erkki suitable for driving.

Using the centuries-old table cutting method, the gloves are given the right fit. Excess stretch is stretched out of the leather, leaving only the adjustment margin that ensures an excellent fit. This ensures that the gloves do not stretch even after prolonged use, but maintain their fit.
The leathers are used as carefully as possible to avoid wasting material.

Note: Some screens protected by thick tempered glass do not work with touchscreen gloves.

General Instructions

Gloves should be stretched slightly in the longitudinal direction after every time you wear them. This way their original shape and the length of fingers is restored. It is advisable to keep the gloves either flat or folded twice as they should not be wrinkled.

Avoid getting the gloves wet! Bright and intense colors may dye when they get in touch with liquids. If gloves get wet allow them to dry at room temperature preferably on a towel.

Small imperfections caused by getting wet can be faded by stretching the leather a bit around the area with flaws.

The shine of the nappa leather can be increased by rubbing the gloves with a soft cloth and by using some talcum powder.

The surface of suede leather can be improved with a soft brush or a piece of foam. Some dust particles may come off from suede leather when the gloves have not yet been used. This can be removed by brushing lightly.

How to Wash Leather Gloves

Although usually the gloves should not be exposed to water it is still possible to wash them by hand. Do not machine wash leather gloves. We do not recommend washing hairsheep leather gloves except washable hairsheep leather.

You'll need:

• Our Leather Soap or Marseille soap. It is important to use a gentle soap with moisturizing ingredients.
• Two pieces of sponge
• Famaco Delicate Gel (Gloves made from the finest leathers should not be exposed to spray or cream containing silicone.)
• A dish for water
• Leather Brush

1. Wear the glove in your hand. Do not immerse gloves in water as lining materials with natural fiber may shrink if the water temperature is too high. Please also note that gloves with fur lining or otherwise containing fur should not be washed with water.
2. Brush all excess dirt and dust off the leather.
3. Wet the sponge and squeeze excess water.
4. Use a sponge to foam the soap and gently rub the leather in circular motion. Work in sections. When you have cleansed a section use a clean side of the sponge to clean the leather of excess soap.
5. Let the glove dry on a towel in room temperature for 15-30 minutes. While the gloves are still slightly damp gently put them on to restore their original shape.
6. Repeat the process on the other glove.
7. Now is time to apply the gel. Wear the glove in your hand. Use a clean sponge. Work in sections with gentle circular motions. A little goes a long way!
8. Let the gloves dry for 15-30 minutes.
9. Use a leather brush to make the leather shine and to remove excess product.
