Since 1929 The history of manufacturing Sauso gloves is strongly linked to the history of the Sauso family. Svante Sauso, the great grandfather of Sakari Sauso, got his glove manufacturing skills from the greatest German glove manufacturers and established factory to Järvenpää, Finland in 1929. After Svante his son Arno took over the management of the company and from him the company was passed on to the third generation of Sauso that is represented by Sakari Sauso.

Dark blue leather gloves are a classic accessory with the ability to elevate any outfit. The high-quality white gloves are also excellent for formal occasions, where etiquette requires white gloves. The full-grain nappa leather, derived from Ethiopian hair sheep, is a fine and flexible material. The nappa leather is known for its beautiful gloss, which is unlike any of out other leathers.

The lining, made from 100% silk in Italy, feels sleek and breathable. The sleek silk lining make it easy to put on the snug gloves. The lining has excellent heat transferability while being cool on the skin. As the cuff of the glove covers the wrist, it’s excellent for all seasons, from spring to autumn.

The classic and minimalist design is easy to wear in different ways. The gloves are made using the centuries-old table cutting method, which ensures the gloves will fit perfectly. In this method, the cutting master processes each hide individually, selecting the right pieces suitable for each part of the glove. After being cut, the leather pieces are stretched out to control the level of stretch present in the final product, creating leather that has just the optimal amount of flexibility, so that the gloves will mould perfectly to the hands of the wearer. This is the most important step in terms of ensuring the perfect fit. This is also why the gloves are supposed to feel a little snug at first.

The gloves are handmade with a step seam. The step seam is the most challenging type of seam, mastered only by the best seamstresses. The step seam ensures that the gloves look beautifully sleek and delicate, which is why this design is one of our bestsellers. The gloves are easy to care for. As the leather is naturally oily, it doesn’t need to be treated with leather care products. Avoid getting the leather wet. Always stretch the gloves lengthwise after each use. Do not store the gloves in an airtight place to allow any moisture accumulated during use to evaporate.

How do I choose the right size gloves?

To find the right size, measure your larger hand (usually your writing hand) at its widest point without a thumb. The circumference of the hand is measured very firmly around the hand. Tip: If you do not have a tape measure, you can use a string. Measure the circumference of the hand with the string and then measure the length of the string with a ruler. This measurement result allows you to select the correct size from the selected size chart. (The size chart can be found on each product page.) If the measurement is between two sizes, we recommend rounding to the nearest half or full size. When rounding to the nearest size, consider the length of your fingers. If you have long fingers or keep your nails long, choose a larger size. If the model of your hand is more wide than the long model, choose a smaller size - this way the fingers are not too long. The glove should sit firmly at the beginning, as the leather stretches slightly in use and shapes in your hand over time.

Oikein hyvät, napakanoloiset hanskat. Kaunis sininen väri. Rohkenen jatkossakin ostaa verkossa; sain oikean kokoiset.

Ihanat hanskat, sopii hyvin kenkieni kanssa :)
