      • Men's hunting gloves with warm linings
      • Finnish white-tailed deer full-grain leather
      • Lining 100% wool.
      • Handmade in Hungary

Sauso X Ruoto collection is a glove designed in Finnish collaboration for hunters' needs. Hunting glove equipped with wool lining is made from white-tailed deer leather hunted in Finland.

Snug fit, good grip, and trigger sensitivity make the gloves ideal hunting gloves. Both index fingers have a trigger finger opening, allowing the gloves to serve both right- and left-handed users. An elastic band sewn to the wrist helps keep the wind out of the wrists.

Finnish deer leather is an ecological and ethical material obtained as a by-product of hunting. High-quality full-grain leather develops a beautiful patina over time. The leather is treated to be more oily than usual, making it somewhat water-repellent and providing excellent grip and a firm feel.

Breathable natural materials keep hands dry and warm. The knitted lining inside the gloves is 100% sheep wool, making the gloves suitable for use from autumn to spring. Wool's heat regulation and breathability make it very comfortable against the skin. The knitted lining is practically a glove inside the glove. We have sourced linings from high-quality and responsible suppliers in Italy for decades. The linings are sewn into the gloves so that they can be replaced if necessary.

Manufacturing quality gloves is handcraft from start to finish, with machines only playing a supporting role. The leather is processed using a centuries-old table cutting method. The cutter aims to utilize the leather as precisely as possible to avoid wasting valuable material, while also considering the natural stretch of each individual hide to ensure the gloves fit the hand as well as possible. The table cutting method requires carefulness and manual strength and is very slow – the cutting speed is only about three pairs per hour on average.
