The Hairsheep nappa leather is thin and flexible. The nappa leather has a beautiful sheen that is unmatched by other glove leathers we use. This model is made out of washable hairsheep leather so it can withstand washing.The gloves are made using the traditional table cutting method. With the table cutting method, the master cutter carefully handles each hide by hand, cutting out suitable pieces for sewing the gloves. After cutting, the leather pieces are stretched to just the right amount of excess stretch. The leather is left with a suitable amount of room for shaping so that the glove shapes itself to suit the user during use. This is the most important step in terms of the right fit. Because of this room for shaping, the gloves should fit very snugly the first few times they are worn.
The gloves are sewn with a graceful step seam. This seam type is the most challenging of all seams used in gloves, and its only the most experienced glove seamstresses can do this. The step seam achieves a beautiful, graceful appearance, making these gloves our popular classic.
