Using the centuries-old table cutting method, the cutter stretches and cuts each piece of leather separately. The stretching ensures that the excess stretch is stretched out of the leather, but it leaves just the right amount of room for deformation so that the glove molds to the user's hand during use. Because of this flexibility, the glove should initially fit very snugly.
