- Women's leather winter gloves
- Deerskin
- Knit lining 53% merino wool, 40% possum fur, and 7% silk.
- Hand-sewn
- Made in Europe
- Classic stylish cognac brown color
Winter gloves made from soft and warm deerskin. These deerskin gloves feature a unique lining material - an incredibly warm and durable merino-possum-silk knit lining.
Using a centuries-old table cutting method, the gloves achieve a proper fit. The leathers are cut individually by hand. Excess stretch is manually removed from the leather, leaving only the adaptation allowance that ensures an excellent fit. This ensures that the gloves do not stretch out in use but retain their fit. The leathers are also utilized as precisely as possible to avoid material waste. Due to this purposeful shaping, the gloves should initially fit the hand very snugly.
The knit lining is 53% merino wool, 40% possum fur, and 7% silk.
In what we consider the world's best knit blend, luxurious and superior materials have been combined. Wonderful merino wool, warming opossum fur, and fine silk are materials equipped with the finest properties. Breathability, moisture-wicking ability, and softness come together in this exceptionally durable and warm knitwear.
- Most of the knitwear is merino wool. Merino is a beloved material due to its practicality and pleasant properties. Highly breathable and moisture-wicking merino wool keeps the skin dry and warm.
- The fur of the possum is hollow inside, which makes the fur both extremely warm and breathable, but also exceptionally light. The product is therefore up to 30% lighter in weight than a comparable wool knit. The use of possum fur in knitwear has arisen as a byproduct of hunting this harmful invasive species, meaning it meets our requirements for ethically sourced material. About 60 million possums in New Zealand threaten the original natural biodiversity, as they have no sufficient natural predators.
- Precious and fine silk perfects the highly developed combination by bringing durability, smoothness, and breathability to the knitwear.
