These classic men's driving gloves are made from Ethiopian karvalampa nappa, or top-grain leather, which is beautifully glossy and soft. The thin and flexible leather molds well to the hand.
The classic design of the driving glove inherently includes knuckle openings. The gloves are unlined, making them feel very light on the hand. The thin leather is soft and breathable, providing a good grip on the steering wheel. Additionally, the leather has small decorative perforations that further enhance the glove's breathability.
The gloves are sewn with a flat seam, meaning the seam is also on the outside of the glove. This makes the glove especially comfortable to wear, as only smooth and soft leather touches the skin, with no irritating seams.
There is a metal snap button on the back of the hand that closes the wrist opening.
By using a centuries-old table cutting method, the gloves achieve the right fit. The leathers are cut one by one by hand. Extra stretch is manually removed from the leather, leaving only the necessary allowance for an excellent fit. This ensures that the gloves do not stretch during use, but maintain their fit. The leathers are also utilized as efficiently as possible to avoid waste.
Due to this functional shaping, the gloves should initially fit the hand very snugly.
