The long cuff adds an elegant touch to this classic glove. The cuff extends about halfway up the forearm. Thanks to the longer cuff, the wrists stay warm. These gloves are suitable both with narrow-cuffed jackets and jackets with wide and/or short sleeves because the cuff is slender.
The gloves are made from Ethiopian karvalampa nappa or top-grain leather, which is soft and flexible. Naturally thin but durable leather molds in use perfectly to the wearer's hand. Sheep nappa leather is also characterized by a beautiful glossy surface.
The natural fiber lining increases the glove's warmth. The knitted lining glove is well suited for use from autumn to spring. The cashmere knit made in Italy is wonderfully soft and warm. Cashmere wool is significantly softer and warmer than regular sheep's wool, yet very breathable.
By using a centuries-old table cutting method, the gloves achieve the right fit. The leathers are cut one by one by hand. Extra stretch is manually removed from the leather, leaving only the necessary allowance for an excellent fit. This ensures that the gloves do not stretch during use, but maintain their fit. The leathers are also utilized as efficiently as possible to avoid waste.
The gloves are handmade using a sewing machine. The step seam used in the gloves is a very challenging type of seam that only the best seamstresses can master.
Caring for gloves is easy. Since leather is naturally oily, it does not need to be treated with leather care products. Avoid getting the leather wet. Gently stretch the gloves lengthwise after each use. Store the gloves laid flat in a breathable space so that moisture accumulated during use can evaporate.
The linings in gloves often wear out faster than the leather, so we offer our customers a lining replacement service that allows the linings to be changed in gloves already shaped to their own hands.
