Kaunis rannekuminauha tekee ranteesta siron.

      • Ethiopian lambskin nappa leather.
      • 100% silk lining
      • Cuff length 1.5' (approx. 4 cm), covering the wrist
      • Step seam
      • Machine sewn by hand
      • Handmade using the table cutting method
      • Made in Europe
      • The leather is obtained as a by-product from the food industry.

Short-cuffed, silk-lined gloves with a step seam, hand-stitched cuff, and a metal ornament. The ornament gives the gloves character and personality. A beautiful wrist elastic makes the wrist slender.

The nappa or top grain leather of the Ethiopian karvalampa sheep is thin and flexible. The sheep's nappa leather is characterized by a beautiful shine, unmatched by any other glove leathers we use.

The lining, made of 100% silk in Italy, is smooth and breathable against the skin. Thanks to the silk lining, the snug-fitting glove is easy to slip on. The silk lining has good heat conductivity and provides warmth while feeling comfortably cool on the skin.

The glove cuff covers the wrist, which is also why the glove is well suited as a mid-season glove. The classic and minimalist design adapts excellently to all kinds of styles.

The gloves are made using the traditional table cutting method. With the table cutting method, the cutting master carefully handles each hide by hand, cutting suitable pieces for sewing the gloves. After cutting, the leather pieces are stretched to remove just the right amount of extra elasticity. The leather is left with enough shaping allowance so that the glove molds perfectly to the user during use. This is the most important step for proper fit. Because of this shaping allowance, the gloves should fit very snugly during the first uses.

The gloves are sewn with a delicate step seam. This seam type is the most challenging of all seams used in gloves, and only the most experienced glove makers master it. The step seam achieves a beautiful, elegant appearance, which is why these gloves are one of our popular classics.
