The artisanal manufacturing of gloves is inherently very economical and thus ecological in terms of material usage. During the cutting phase, the cutter optimizes the consumption of leather so that the production of cutting waste is minimal. For this purpose, gloves are an excellent product, as they have many small parts (fourchettes/gussets, thumbs, wrist binding) for which very small pieces of leather can be used. The natural feel of high-quality aniline leather is preserved thanks to drum dyeing, meaning no chemicals typical of mass production are sprayed onto the leather. The waters used in the manufacturing of the materials are purified already at the factory. Taking ecological considerations into account is important to us at every stage of production and operation. For example, product tags are made from FSC-certified cardboard in the factory neighbouring our glove factory, which also keeps the transport's carbon footprint minimal.
Our gloves are handmade in Hungary in the beautiful city of Pécs, which is a centre of expertise for the manufacture of world-class quality gloves. Glove making is a highly respected craft, and the working conditions of the best glove makers in the field are good and compliant with EU laws. We only use leather obtained as a by-product of food production (such as lamb) and/or as a result of population management (such as moose/elk). We do not use the fur of farmed animals. Our priority is to manufacture high-quality and durable accessories. However, we also closely monitor the field of vegan materials, and it may be possible to produce vegan gloves in the future. Materials are sourced from reliable partners, so the stages of the production chain are known.

We encourage the longest possible use of our products, and we provide guidance on glove maintenance and repair. For example, it is possible to replace the natural fibre linings of the gloves, which further extends their lifespan. The lining replacement and glove repair service operates through our store. As a classic accessory, gloves are not tied to seasonal trends, but serve their wearer's wardrobe throughout their entire life cycle.
