Reindeer suede is an elegant and pleasant material. Soft, thin and very durable reindeer leather is like being created for gloves. The very luxurious leather feels like a second skin on the skin. It withstands weather conditions well, because the leather naturally repels dirt and moisture. Exotic in the world, but locally produced for us, reindeer leather is one of the most valued glove leathers. Reindeer leather is an ethical and ecological leather. The care of free-grazing reindeer is essential for the vitality of northern villages. As a material, reindeer suede is warmer than, for example, sheepskin.
The knitted lining brings much-needed warmth to the glove during the cold season. The luxurious knit is of fine quality, warm and very soft. The breathable natural material feels pleasant on the skin due to its softness. Cashmere has a natural good thermal insulation, so it adds warmth to the glove.
The glove is simple in style and has sophisticated decorative stitching on the back of the palm. The gloves are sewn with a step seam, which makes the glove look beautiful and graceful in the hand. The shaft is approx. 5 cm long, which means it covers the wrist well and protects from the wind.
The gloves have been handmade from the beginning and have gone through about 100 hand-made steps. One of the most important steps is stretching and cutting the glove using the traditional table cutting method. This ensures a perfect fit by hand by stretching the excess stretch out of the leather, but leaving room for it to shape to the user's hand. The leathers are also cut precisely so that no material is wasted.
Glove care is easy. Since leather is naturally oily, it does not need to be treated with leather care products. Avoid getting the leather wet. Stretch the gloves slightly lengthwise after each use. Store the gloves straightened in a breathable space so that moisture that has accumulated during use can evaporate. Suede can be refreshed by brushing it lightly with a soft clothes brush.
In gloves, the linings often wear out faster than the leather, so we offer our customers a lining exchange service that allows you to exchange the linings for gloves that have already formed on your hands.

„Die handwerkliche Herstellung unserer Handschuhe ist von Natur aus äußerst materialeffizient und damit ökologisch. Bereits beim Zuschneiden optimiert der Zuschneider den Lederverbrauch so, dass nur minimaler Verschnitt entsteht. Handschuhe eignen sich hierfür ideal, da ihre zahlreichen kleinen Bestandteile – wie Vierchetten, Daumen und Abschlüsse – selbst aus kleineren Lederstücken gefertigt werden können. Der natürliche Griff unseres hochwertigen Anilinleders bleibt dank der Fassfärbung vollständig erhalten – es werden keine chemischen Oberflächenbehandlungen verwendet, wie sie in der Massenproduktion üblich sind. Auch die bei der Materialherstellung eingesetzten Prozesswässer werden direkt in der Fabrik gereinigt. Ökologische Verantwortung ist für uns in jeder Produktionsphase und Unternehmensentscheidung ein zentraler Wert. Unsere Produktanhänger bestehen beispielsweise aus FSC-zertifiziertem Karton, der in der Nachbarfabrik unserer Handschuhmanufaktur hergestellt wird – so halten wir auch den Transportaufwand und den CO₂-Fußabdruck minimal.
Unsere Handschuhe werden in Ungarn, in der wunderschönen Stadt Pécs, von Hand gefertigt – einem traditionsreichen Zentrum für die Herstellung von Lederhandschuhen auf Weltklasseniveau. Die Handschuhmacherei ist dort ein hochangesehenes Handwerk, und die Arbeitsbedingungen der erfahrensten Handschuhmacher entsprechen selbstverständlich den hohen Standards und Gesetzen der Europäischen Union. Wir verwenden ausschließlich Leder, das als Nebenprodukt der Lebensmittelproduktion (z. B. Lamm) oder als Ergebnis einer nachhaltigen Wildtierbestandsregulierung (z. B. Elch) gewonnen wird. Fell von gezüchteten Pelztieren kommt bei uns nicht zum Einsatz. Unser oberstes Ziel ist es, hochwertige und langlebige Accessoires herzustellen. Gleichzeitig beobachten wir die Entwicklung veganer Materialien sehr genau – die Herstellung veganer Handschuhe ist in Zukunft durchaus möglich. Unsere Materialien beziehen wir ausschließlich von zuverlässigen Partnern, sodass alle Schritte der Lieferkette transparent und nachvollziehbar sind.
